got this pattern from futuregirl... if you want to give it a try, download it here.
i adorned it with clovers... don't you think it looks kinda japanese-ish? hehe...
anyway, i did not use the foundation single crochet in the pattern coz it looked kinda complicated. so i just stick to single crochets and it still came out ok.
and i put in lining for this bag. love it!

thanks, shumaila! have fun making your Starling! :)
I haven't a clue how to crochet, so I am in awe of your bags. They are really special.
But hope is near....I see on your blog several crocheting tutorials. Maybe I'll give them a try.
Thanks for your great blog and bags.

its'a very nice colour!I also wanna try this starling bag pattern soon, but i coudn't find the perfect yarn for this. cotton yarn in my country is more soft
K: thanks for dropping by! there are heaps of free tutorials and how-to videos on the web... good luck, and hope you enjoy making them!
nani: try searching for rug yarns. here in malaysia, they come in a variety of nice colours, so basically i use them. quite hardy too, esp for bags. we don't want our bags to fall apart with fragile yarns. that will be quite a sight! LOL...
precious! And I love the embellishment and lining.
BTW, I haven't made mine yet b/c of the foundation sc...I don't know how to do it.....now that I see yours done with old fashioned sc, I think I'll have to do it this summer! Thank you!
thanks, Yarni! yeah, i got confused with the foundation sc too, so i decided to just use the traditional sc and see if it works. came out ok, i guess! :)
